New Ferry explosion families still waiting to go home 21 weeks on
 

Families caught up in the New Ferry explosion are still waiting to go home, 21 weeks on.
Christopher Power, whose house was just a few doors down from the March 25 blast, shared these photos showing how his house looks today – and said it remained an “empty shell”.
Although he praised the response of Wirral Council and Port Sunlight Village Trust to the disaster, he said he was still waiting for planning permission for some of the repairs needed.
His, like several of the houses wrecked in the explosion, stands within Port Sunlight village and is Grade II listed.
