New exhibition celebrating freedom to open at North Lincolnshire heritage centre
 

A new exhibition celebrating hard-won freedom is set to open at Brigg Heritage Centre.
The display, called Captivity and Confinement, is based on Brigg’s Pingley Prisoner of War camp and the Brigg Workhouse.
It has been created in partnership with Lincolnshire Heritage Open Days, which this year has the theme of Freedom, Justice, Equality.
Officials at the heritage centre, based at The Angel, say the exhibition has led to a huge amount of interest on both of its topics, with contributions arriving from round the world relating to Pingley Camp.
