New clue to early menopause



“A test could warn women of early menopause,” according to The Guardian. The newspaper reported that the test might aid the “growing number of women who put off children until their thirties but then find that they cannot conceive”.
The news is based on a study examining particular genetic variations that previous research had linked to early menopause, occurring before the age of 45. The study has compared the DNA of more than 2,000 women who had experienced early menopause with that of women who had menopause later than 45 years.
