New Brighton nightclub The Tav has been reduced to a pile of rubble – 17 months after closing its doors for the final time.
The Magazine Lane club was hugely popular with its loyal regulars but less so with neighbours, who complained the behaviour of customers made them too scared to leave their homes.
It shut in April 2015 after the club’s manager said the allegations had caused irreparable damage to its reputation.
The Tav, which started life as a school before being converted into a club, was put up for sale last December for £250,000.
