New 'Banksy' rat appears at famous Love Plane site



A Banksy-style rat has appeared at the site of the famous Love Plane that was removed from a city centre wall and may be heading overseas.
The rat, in Banksy’s distinctive stencilled style, is holding a paintbrush with the words “Bye Plane” in a tribute to Banksy’s vanished art.
Banksy’s Love Plane was removed from a wall in Rumford Street last year. Developer North Point Global and art firm Sincura said the work would be displayed in a “street art gallery” it was to build in the Baltic Triangle.
