Neighbours' shock after a boy on a motorbike was gunned down in the street
 

Neighbours have spoken of their shock after a 15-year-old boy was gunned down in the street and left fighting for his life.
Police were called to Hewitt Avenue at 8.40pm on Wednesday after reports a youngster had been injured while travelling on a motorbike.
It quickly emerged the teenager had been shot and he was taken to the RVI where he remains in a critical condition.
A 39-year-old man and 16-year-old boy have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
They remain in custody.
Residents in the Ryhope area of Sunderland have expressed their shock.
