Neighbour who heard suspicious noises from flat foils raid on bookies



POLICE foiled a raid on a bookmaker's shop after a sharp-eared witness heard thudding noises from a nearby house and raised the alarm.
Two intruders were "caught in the act" skulking behind a door panel and one of them was Tasered as he tried to flee, a court heard.
Borge Bradwell, 37, of Cooper Road, Grimsby, admitted two offences of burglary and possessing cocaine.
Craig Lowe, prosecuting, told Grimsby Crown Court that police were alerted after a man heard thudding noises from a flat next to a bookmakers shop at 1am on March 17.
