Nearly half of women visiting new fertility clinic are overweight
 

Nearly half of women who have visited one of Birmingham’s newest fertility clinics are overweight or obese, a leading expert has revealed.
Figures show that of all the women who have had a consultation at Create Fertility, in Solihull, 44 per cent were overweight, and of those 23 per cent were obese.
Dr Geeta Nargund who runs the recently opened clinic told the Birmingham Mail: “The American Society for Reproductive Medicine has found that obesity is associated with decreased fertility and increased risk of miscarriages.
