Nationwide scoops up the most people switching bank accounts, but does it have the top deals worth moving for?



Nationwide nabbed more current account switchers at the end of last year than any other bank or building society, according to new figures from the Current Account Switch Service (CASS).
According to the research released by Bacs, in the last four months of 2016, the building society gained an overall 30,510 customers likely thanks to its lucrative 5 per cent in-credit interest deal on the FlexDirect Account.
The building society's fortunes may turn however, having recently announced it's putting up fees on its FlexPlus current account from £10 to £13 a month from September.
