National Trust forced to apologise for its great ‘cream before jam’ Cornwall blunder
 

The National Trust has committed a cardinal sin in Cornwall by publishing a cream tea advert with the cream on the scone first.
Devon and Cornwall have been in an age old battle over which comes first, the cream or the jam, and the National Trust advert has been branded ‘shocking’ and disgusting’.
Lanhydrock House and Garden posted the mouth watering picture on Facebook for Mother’s Day and ‘Cornish cream team’ came out in force with hundreds of people complaining.
