Nailbiting video shows planes grapple with 34mph winds to land at Liverpool airport



This nailbiting video shows how pilots battled 34mph crosswinds - with one plane swept aside just ten feet from the ground at Liverpool airport.
Incredible footage, uploaded to Youtube channel Aviationupclose shows a number of different planes - including Ryanair and Easyjet planes - tackling strong gales to perform tricky landings at John Lennon airport.
One of the planes, Easyjet G-EZIT, was forced to abort its first attempt at landing because of its unstable approach in the high winds.
