'My son is now my daughter': Councillor supports schoolgirl daughter as she comes out on social media



WISHAW Councillor Rosa Zambonini has made a bold move by helping her son announce to the world he is transitioning into a girl.
The 34-year-old used social media to pledge support to the TIE (Time for Inclusive Education) campaign - a programme to promote education encompassing topics and issues relating to the LGBTI+ community in Scotland.
She posted the video last night, with the message, "My brave daughter Charlie has asked to come out to support @ tiecampaign and to help others. I'm so proud. Please be kind. She is amazing."
