Music company PRS and Phonographic Performance Ltd creating 200 new jobs in Leicester



A music business is creating 200 new jobs in Leicester.The company is being launched in the city to license premises so that they can play music and to support the growing number of UK festivals.
It has taken a lease on two floors in Mercury Place – including one currently occupied by 72 staff at the Leicester Mercury – and plans to move in on July 1, next year.
Talks are underway to find a replacement home for the paper in the city.
No other tenants are believed to be affected.
