Murderer tries to stop cops selling car he allegedly used to dump lover's body
 

A callous killer has tried to thwart police plans to auction off the car he allegedly used to dispose of his lover’s body.
David Gilroy, 52, was found guilty of the murder of ex-colleague Suzanne Pilley in 2012 and was jailed for life.
Gilroy still protests his innocence. Suzanne’s body was never found and there was no DNA or forensic evidence in the car or elsewhere linking Gilroy, who had been having an affair with the 38-year-old bookkeeper, to the crime.
Evidence at the trial related to the Vauxhall Vectra. It was alleged Gilroy made an unnecessary trip to Argyll by an unusual route.... read more
