Mums reveal their tax credit hell as more cases emerge
 

ECHO readers have been in touch to talk about their experiences with tax credits after we revealed one mum had her benefits stopped because the authorities said her daughter didn’t exist.
Rachel Williams, a single mum of two from Allerton, said her payments were suddenly decreased and when she phoned Concentrix - the fraud investigations agency used by HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) - they said they didn’t believe she had a second child and demanded she repay £4,000.
