A mum-of-two who was left unable to open her eyes following plastic surgery has welcomed an online tool to protect prospective patients from “ruthless” sales tactics.
Dawn Knight, from Stanley, had her life turned upside down after botched cosmetic surgery which left her unable to close her own eyes.
She had undergone an eye procedure in 2012 at a private clinic, conducted by a surgeon who was not properly insured leaving her with vision problems and was unable to close her eyes properly following the procedure.
