Mum and son team up with charity to help build primary school in Malawi
 

A mother and son travelled to Malawi to build classrooms at a rural primary school.
Christina Corrieri, 58, and John Niven, 28, both from Penilee, Glasgow , and volunteers raised almost £18,000 to complete the project.
Care worker Christina and primary school teacher John helped construct two new classrooms at a school on the outskirts of the city of Blantyre.
Its pupils had studied under a tree and in makeshift thatched shelters.
Now hundreds of youngsters starting school this month will get lessons in colourful and safe buildings.
