'Much respected' teacher loses his battle with rare cancer, aged 37
 

Tributes have been paid to a much-loved husband and son who has lost his battle with a rare form of cancer.
Simon Waddington thought his battle with sarcoma had been won, only to discover it had returned in his lungs.
Despite receiving aggressive chemotherapy, Simon passed away on September 20, aged 37.
Simon, a teacher at All Saints Church of England Academy, Ingleby Barwick, married his wife, Jennifer, last year.
His parents, Sonja and Peter, have spoken of how they will miss their “great” son.
