'Much loved father' who died unexpectedly in Hemlington took his own life, inquest hears
 

The partner of a “much loved father” who died suddenly has spoken of the gap he has left in her life.
Craig Smith’s family were left devastated when he unexpectedly took his own life in August.
The 40-year-old, who was also known as “Smigger”, was father to one-year-old daughter, Lexi, and step-dad to partner Kelly Spink’s ten-year-old son, Liam.
In a statement read at his inquest, held today at Teesside Coroner’s Court , Ms Spink described her “caring” partner.
