Mrs Brown’s Boys stars ‘diverted £2million’ in offshore tax dodge scheme
 

Three actors from the BBC sitcom Mrs Brown’s Boys have been implicated in a tax avoidance scheme by the leaked Paradise Papers documents.
The stars – Patrick Houlihan, Martin Delany and Fiona Delany – reportedly diverted £2million through the offshore scheme.
The documents show how the stars transferred their fees into Mauritius-based companies which then sent the money back as loans.
Patrick Houlihan, who plays Dermot Brown in the hit show, told the Irish Times that he didn’t fully understand the scheme, saying: ‘You never knew what the f**k was going on.’
