Move aside Samsung: Philips unveils its first ever Quantum Dot television that can show 'perfect colour'

In a bid to take on Samsung, Philips has unveiled its first ever Quantum Dot TV.
The technology produces a much brighter and clearer image than traditional LCD TVs, and until now, has only been used by Samsung.
Philips revealed the TV at the IFA conference in Berlin today, although it is unclear when it will be available. 
The technology has previously been described as being able to show 'perfect colour.'
