Motorist 'cannot remember anything about A500 fatal crash'



MOTORIST Nathan Confrey told a jury he has no recollection of the crash which killed a dad-of-four.
The 33-year-old is on trial at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court charged with causing the death of Nathan Smallwood by dangerous driving on the A500 at Etruria on December 13, 2014.
He is also charged with causing Mr Smallwood's death by careless driving and causing serious injury to Mr Smallwood's wife, Deborah, by dangerous driving.
He denies all three charges.
Confrey, a former soldier, told the court he had no recollection of the accident.
