Motorcyclists take to the saddle in memory of fallen soldier



MOTORCYCLISTS took to the saddle in memory of fallen soldier Conrad Lewis.
Some 200 bikers set off on ‘Conrad’s Ride’ from Ragley Hall to the Old Leamingtonians RFC in Leamington via Warwick Castle.
The paratrooper – who enjoyed both rugby and motorcycling – was 22 years-old and serving with 3 Para when he was killed by a Taliban sniper’s bullet in 2011, while on foot patrol in one of the most dangerous areas of Helmand Province.
A Guard of Honour was performed and a flag presented to the soldier’s parents Anthony and Sandra Lewis.
