Motorcyclist airlifted to hospital after crashing on A98 near Peterhead
 

A MOTORCYCLIST has been seriously injured after crashing in Aberdeenshire.
Emergency services rushed to the scene after the biker came off the road near New Pitsligo just after 1pm.
An air ambulance rushed the biker, who had been travelling on the A98 Banff to Fraserburgh road, to hospital.
A police spokesperson confirmed the motorcyclist sustained "serious injuries" and that the road has been closed.
