Mother’s pride after son helps Syrian refugee who was being bullied
 

The mother of a boy who defended a Syrian refugee from bullies has said she is proud of him.
Jack Stanley, 12, was featured on yesterday’s episode of Educating Greater Manchester on Channel 4.
He had won viewers over after helping Rani Asaad, also 12, when he was being bullied at Harrop Fold School, in Little Hulton, Salford.
Rani was forced to leave Syria when he was just four years old.
