MORE WOE FOR DEUTSCHE BANK: German firm to stand trial in Italy for ‘manipulating markets’
 

The German giant could face the prospect of further fines hitting its battered balance after a Milan court formally opened legal proceedings. 
Deutsche Bank will be in the dock alongside the struggling Italian banks Monte dei Paschi and the financial firm Nomura for a string of alleged financial crimes, according to legal sources. 
The struggling firm stands accused of using a complex system of payments and trades to conceal losses at Monte dei Paschim in the aftermath of the 2008 financial crash. 
All those indicted have previously denied any wrongdoing.
