More headaches for commuters as Mersey Ferries service is suspended again
 

Passengers who use the Mersey Ferries were once again forced to use alternative transport after services were suspended because of “technical difficulties.”
Merseytravel tweeted this morning to say the ferry, the Royal Iris, was cancelled until further notice and apologised for any inconvenience.
A replacement bus service was operating instead.
Mersey Ferry services have been disrupted since the weekend because of “operational issues”.
