Monarch: Should YOU still buy tickets with airline following 'negative speculation'
 

Monarch’s Air Travel Organiser’s Licence (ATOL) was due for renewal on September 30.
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) had concerns about the future of the airline after it failed satisfy the flying authority about it's viability.
As a precaution, on September 24 and 25, the CAA set up a shadow airline, which would mimic Monarch’s schedule and chartered planes were deployed across Europe.
