Monarch Airlines seals deal to continue flying package holiday customers
 

Monarch Airlines has secured an extension to the company’s licence to fly package holiday customers after crisis talks with aviation chiefs.
The airline, which employs hundreds of people at Birmingham Airport, reached an agreement just hours before a deadline at the end of Friday to prove it could continue to provide flights for three months and secure an extension to its expired Air Travel Organisers’ Licence (ATOL).
