Modern slavery raids find Polish men working for just £1 per hour in Sandwell



Nearly a dozen Polish men - who are reported to have been paid just £1 per hour - have been rescued after police smashed a slavery ring in the Black Country.
West Midlands Police raided CAP Recycling in Elwell Street, West Bromwich, and their sister firm, Black Country Recycling in Union Road, Oldbury, this morning where they discovered the exploited men living and working in appalling conditions.
