Modern fish are still evolving so they can live on land



It’s been around 400 million years since the first fish crawled out on to land and it seems more are evolving to do the same.
The first wave led to an evolutionary chain that produced us humans.
This time round it’s the blenny fish on Rarotonga, in the South Pacific, that apparently fancy living on land.
A new combined study from the Australian National University and the University of New South Wales (UNSW) showed the creatures were changing habitat so they could avoid predators and find food.
