Additionally, the fast-growing challenger operator said that unless Ofcom acts, popular smartphone packages such as “all you can eat” or fixed price unlimited data, may have to be scrapped as it is running out of capacity.
Between them, EE and Vodafone control approximately 70 per cent of the UK’s mobile airwaves, a situation that Three says is stifling competition.
The firm has 15 per cent of the scarce mobile spectrum, but accounts for 40 per cent of the UK’s entire data traffic.
