Mobile coffee shop Rendezvous in Hull given go-ahead



A couple on a quest to serve the perfect street stall coffee have won over city councillors.
Hull City Council have given Mayo and Helen Binnie the go-ahead to start trading from their converted Citroen van in Jameson Street.
The couple originally applied to set up their mobile speciality coffee business, Rendezvous, in the Rose Bowl near Queens Gardens. But they were asked to re-think the idea because of concerns over the possible impact on neighbouring coffee shops.
Now they are set to start trading in Jameson Street once the public realm works are finished.
