MLS Eastern Conference final delayed in Montreal after penalty area had to be repainted
 

The game, the first instalment two-legged semi-final, was supposed to start at 8.08pm local time at Montreal Impact’s Olympic Stadium but kick-off had to be delayed after the referee noticed the penalty area had been painted too narrow.
The edge of box had been painted 16 yards from the post instead of the regulation 18 and stadium staff were forced to go over their previous effort with green paint before putting down the correct line.
