Mike Hookem denies punching Steven Woolfe in UKIP ‘scuffle’

Mike Hookem has denied throwing a punch at fellow UKIP MEP Steven Woolfe calling the incident a scuffle and saying he was acting in self-defence.
The party’s defence spokesman ‘categorically’ denied throwing any punches at the leadership contender and insisted he was not responsible for his injuries.
Woolfe is recovering in hospital after collapsing at the European Parliament in Strasbourg after allegedly hitting his head and suffering a suspected bleed on the brain.
