Middlesbrough lorry driver jailed after smuggling drugs

A Middlesbrough lorry driver has been jailed for his role in a slick drug-smuggling operation in which he was caught with £5m worth of drugs in his truck in France.
Jeffrey Robson, of Desford Green, Pallister Park, was attempting to bring the amphetamine into the North-east but his truck was stopped in Coquelles, France, following intense police sureveillance work.
A search of his truck uncovered pure liquid amphetamine with more than £5m hidden in fuel containers.
