Michael Vaughan heaps praise on starlet Haseeb Hameed after England Test debut in India but warns: 'Don't call him baby Boycs' 



A stubborn defence and a steady strike rate has seen Haseeb Hameed draw comparisons with Geoffrey Boycott, but Michael Vaughan insists there much more to England’s newest opener than simply grinding down opposition bowlers.
On his Test debut against India, the 19-year-old did contribute a Boycott-esque 31 from 82 balls in the first innings. 
His powerfully struck six back over the head of Ravindra Jadeja in the second didn’t come from the Yorkshireman’s playbook, though, and former England captain Vaughan has urged observers to keep the comparisons to a minimum.
