Metrolink apologises after 'pornography filter' blocks passenger from gay news website
 

Metrolink has apologised to a passenger after he was blocked from accessing the Gay Times by their wifi settings which deemed the site ‘pornography’.
The passenger from Blackley had boarded a tram when he tried to log on to the well-established news and lifestyle website on his phone last month.

However, as he attempted to follow a link to a story about a survivor of the Orlando massacre, he was issued with an alert telling him the site was blocked.
