Merseyside junctions in top 20 for red light jumpers
 

A RED light in Liverpool city centre is the fifth most skipped by motorists in the whole of England and Wales.
New figures reveal that 1,458 drivers jumped the traffic light at the junction of Victoria Street and Crosshall Street in 2015.
It is the fifth most jumped red light nationwide, a Freedom of Information request from insurers Esure showed.
Two other Merseyside red lights featured in the Top 20, including the junction of Northway (A59)/ Hall Lane in Maghull with 887 caught offenders, which occupied 12th place on the list.
