A group of pupils at a leading fee-paying school have been spoken to by police after joining in the ‘killer clowns’ craze on Facebook.
The ECHO understands a number of pupils at Merchant Taylors’ - which charges £3,650 per term - have been punished by the school and spoken to by Merseyside Police after creating a Facebook group dedicated to the bizarre ‘killer clown’ craze which sees sick pranksters dress up in clown costumes and lurk around in the dark.
