Menai Bridge's tiny historic ferryman's cottage sells - smashing the guide price



The oldest and smallest house on Anglesey has been sold following a bidding war.
The Porthaethwy/Bangor Ferry House (later known as the Cambria Inn) in Menai Bridge sold at auction last night for over triple the guide price of £10,000.
When the property was first listed for sale in September, it instantly generated an enormous amount of interest from across the UK and even from abroad.
And following a flurry of bids at the Bangor based auction, the Grade II listed property was snapped up for £33,000.
