Men from Halmerend and Northwood charged after laser shone at police helicopter



Two men have been charged after a laser was shone at a police helicopter.
Ronnie Frost, aged 19, of High Street, Halmer End, Stoke-on-Trent, and Joe Corden, aged 21, of Eastbourne Road, Northwood, Stoke-on-Trent, are both charged with directing or shining a light at an aircraft in flight so as to dazzle or distract the pilot.
The men were arrested on Sunday night after a light was shone at a police helicopter which was over Northwood helping police find a missing person - who has since been found.
