Men arrested and drugs seized after routine traffic stop



Two men were arrested in Rhyl this morning after a routine vehicle check uncovered a haul of class A drugs.
North Wales Police officers stopped the vehicle on Russell Road just before 11am today (September 26) as the vehicle was showing it had been SORN, had no tax and no insurance.
The men and the vehicle were searched under the Misuse of Drugs Act, resulting in a large amount of class A drugs and cash being seized.
The vehicle was also seized under Section 165 of the Road Traffic Act.
Both men are still in custody awaiting interview.
