It is the one place no parent ever wants their baby to go - but the best place for sick newborns where tiny lives can be saved.
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Hull Women and Children's Hospital is reserved for the poorliest of newborn babies who need medical help at birth. As a level three NICU, the unit is capable of caring for the most at risk newborn babies from all over the UK.
