Meet the Derbyshire food firm which is selling rice to China
 

Forget selling tea to China, a Derbyshire food firm has gone one better and is shipping rice to the Asian country, which already grows close to 210 million tonnes of the little white grain a year.
The incongruous export is part of a new range of traditional British ready-meals being exported to Hong Kong by Chesterfield-based food manufacturer Granny Mary's.
However, before it could close the deal, the company had to completely rethink its usual logo as the existing photograph of the founder, Granny Mary herself, was deemed to be unsuitable for the Chinese market.
