Meet Merseyside Police's youngest new recruits
 

Merseyside Police has welcomed its youngest ever recruits to the force.
Children from years five and six at Hatton Hill Primary School in Litherland and St Monica’s Primary School in Bootle signed up to the Mini Police.
The 40 children were issued with uniforms and will get the chance to learn about the police service during the programme.
Merseyside Police Chief Constable Andy Cooke said: “The Mini Police will be true ambassadors for their schools, community and for Merseyside Police.
