Meet Durham Constabulary's most powerful female officer
 

Durham Constabulary’s new deputy chief constable will just need to make a short trip down the A1 to take up her post.
For the job has been given to Jo Farrell who is currently an assistant chief constable with Northumbria Police.
She succeeds Steve Watson who left earlier in the summer to become the chief constable for South Yorkshire Police.
