'Massive police presence' at Wapping Dock to rescue woman after fears for her safety



A woman had to be rescued from the Wapping Dock this evening amidst fears for her safety.
A force incident manager for Merseyside Police told the ECHO that officers were called at 6pm.
They had responded to calls over concerns for the safety of a woman who was believed to be in the water.
Coastguard, Fire and Rescue and the Ambulance Service also rushed to the scene.
The unidentified woman was pulled from the water alive and is currently being assessed by medics.
