Massive fire breaks out involving 50 tonnes of waste at skip yard



A large fire which broke out at a skip hire company involved 50 tonnes of waste, it has emerged.
Several fire crews were called to deal with the blaze at Willshee's, in Glensyl Way, in Burton and, at its height, there were four fire engines at the scene.
It is not yet known how the fire began. However, 50 tonnes of waste were reportedly involved in the fire. The incident was reported to the fire service on Saturday at about 5.50pm.
