Massive bee-killing Asian hornet nest discovered in the Midlands



A colossal Asian hornet nest has been discovered a mere 80 miles from Birmingham - the fist time ever spotted in the UK.
The gigantic nest, which is the size of a massive pumpkin, was spotted at the top of a 55ft conifer tree in the Cotswolds.
The discovery comes just days after the foreign species, which threatens the world's bee population, was found in Tetbury, near Prince Charles' Highgrove Estate.
Those with a fear of the insects can sleep easily - because it has been confirmed experts have logged, photographed and destroyed the headline-grabbing find.
